customer success manager ✨

Location: UK, Portugal or Remote

Application deadline: rolling deadline

ohne is the hyper-personalised membership, delivering all-natural products, support and resources for the entire menstrual cycle. ohne launched and became a Techstars alumni company in ‘19, and has since shipped over 1.5 million products, seeing over 100% revenue growth in the last 12 months. Backed by global venture funds, we are looking for someone exceptional to head up our customer service relations and engage with our community on a daily basis.

The role of the customer success manager is essential to the growth and success of the business.  The voice of the ohne customer is at the heart of our mission - everyone deserves access to authentic support during their menstrual cycle. The role involves engaging with our customers to ensure they have the best possible experience with ohne - and we’re passionate about empowering our team to go over the top to make each customer feel special. This role is also crucial in shaping the future of the business by providing the team with invaluable customer insights which are used to shape product development roadmaps and strategic decision making. The role is remote, but we will expect you to work full time UK hours to ensure that our customers are fully supported in the hours they are most likely to be contacting us. These will be between 9am to 5pm, UK Time, Monday-Friday.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify all the relevant touch-points of contact for the customer and keep them optimised in terms of experience and communication.

  • Resolving all in-coming customer service enquiries and complaints (replying, managing, and handling all requests) quickly & patiently.

  • Lead on creating customer response templates to provide all information, education and support whilst ensuring ohne's tone of voice is maintained.

  • Deep diving into our processes on a recurring basis and looking for ways to optimise how we provide support to our customers and manage the customer support tasks.

  • Maintaining accurate and up to date customer service records.

  • Collaborating with the fulfillment team to organise adjustments to orders and re-deliveries for customers.

  • Communicating with our wider team to track and manage customer feedback into a feedback loop that can be used to improve the business.

  • Coordinate and analyse all sources of structured customer feedback data including Net Promoter Score and reviews. Report key themes and share with the team to drive continuous improvements and demonstrate we listen to our customers.

  • Community interaction: you will use time between customer service enquiries to engage with customers on Instagram and other social media platforms for brand & community building purposes.

  • Learning about menstrual health and developing the knowledge in order to guide customers asking questions to the right resources and information.

  • At all times, ensure that the customer's records are correctly entered and thorough notes are taken on every case.

  • Taking initiative to look for ways to improve our approach to customer support - always striving to provide ohne customers with best in class customer support.

  • Line manage our existing customer support team (currently 1 member) to provide a consistently high standard of service to our community.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is essential - the ideal candidate will also have experience with an online customer service interface (e.g. Reamaze/Zendesk/Intercom).

  • Proven abilities to use technology to improve and optimise processes; you will be responsible for updating and editing customer orders in response to customer service queries.

  • Willingness to learn and effectively apply our brand voice in order to connect with our customers, as well as the concern for treating every single person with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to help solve their issues.

  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills: you will need to keep us up to date on your daily responsibilities, responding to tasks set, communicating your progress with us, and flagging up any recurring issues as often as necessary.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex customer requests and complaints in a thoughtful, effective, and efficient manner.

  • Professional, reliable and able to stay calm under pressure.

  • Exceptional written communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Additional language skills would be a huge asset to our expanding operations.

  • Due to the nature of remote roles, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently and manage their own tasks with confidence.

  • Be comfortable with learning new technologies. As a remote team we use various tools to support our task management, time tracking, and communication (e.g. Asana, Slack). You will also need to ensure all relevant systems are kept up to date.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary.

  • Unlimited holidays on top of your 28 days off – hard work requires recharge time, and we’re flexible about how much you take (as long as it’s more than 28 days!) and when. We also enforce a company wide holiday day off once every month.

  • Wellness package – budget for you to spend on you, every month.

  • Work locations –  we are open to global applications.  We have a hub in Portugal and in London so ideally come and join us in one of these locations - of course for the right candidate remote is great too.

  • Flexible work, both times and remote work – we know that commuting during rush hour sucks wherever you are, and we know that every now and again, gaining some vitamin D whilst you work from a sun terrace is needed, and we’re all for it. You can move around as much as you like.

  • Work policies that actually care about you as an individual and have your best interests at their core.

  • Team Trips (COVID allowing).

  • Working alongside a team of young, passionate people who encourage, support and nurture one another.
