Role: Growth Director

Company: ohne LTD

Location: Remote

Application deadline: June 20th, 2021

ohne is the hyper-personalised subscription service delivering products for the entire menstrual cycle. With a range of period products and cycle care products, ohne customers receive product deliveries bespoke to them along with resources and support to ensure every user has full autonomy over their entire cycle. ohne launched and became a Techstars alumni company in ‘19, and has shipped over 1.5 million products and seen over 100% revenue growth in the last 12 months. Backed by global venture funds, we’re now on the hunt for our next hire: Growth Director to lead all growth activities during a fast-paced scale.

The ideal candidate is a proven growth expert who will thrive in a fast-moving startup ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining our growth strategy and KPIs, analysing data, coordinating and executing growth plans whilst meeting (or exceeding) targets through entire funnel optimisation. In this role, you’ll lead the growth team (including performance and lifecycle marketers) and will work closely with the brand team to optimise the full customer journey.

In this role you’ll be an exceptional leader, driving your team through a rapid growth period. You’ll be responsible for creating strategies and forecasts, constantly seeking new and innovative growth channels and funnel optimisation. You’ve got perseverance (without an ego) and grit and are excited to scale an early stage startup, complete with the buzz, mistakes, chaos and huge wins! Above all, you’re passionate about creating authentic positive change for women (and people that bleed) as well as the planet.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop ohne’s growth plan in line with our ambitious growth targets.
  • Coordinate and execute growth strategies, working cross functionally across the marketing, tech and product teams to optimise performance.
  • Create and oversee the forecasts and budgets, ensuring growth targets are achieved in line with allocated budgets.
  • Optimise existing growth channels (including paid social channels, PPC, influencers and affiliates, referral and partnerships) whilst also constantly innovating and testing new channels.
  • Lead a growing growth team, including a Performance Marketer and a Lifecycle Marketing Manager whilst working closely with the brand team to oversee the entire customer funnel: optimising for awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, referral, revenue and be proactive in creating funnel improvements.
  • Seek to engineer our funnel more efficiently, introducing creative ideas and solutions to eliminate any bottlenecks. Be willing to test and evaluate these ideas rapidly.
  • Work with our Lifecycle Marketing Manager to constantly improve LTV:CAC, analysing customer cohorts and their behaviours.
  • Develop the systems required to successfully track conversion rates and measure progress against goals
  • Evaluate customer insights with a deep understanding of user habits, needs and perceptions that you have gained through targeted interviews and research, customer reviews and feedback and key metrics. Create in depth presentations to share cross-functional with the team.
  • Evaluate website data and work closely with the tech team to optimise conversion and retention.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of growth marketing at a senior, leadership level, ideally in a fast-paced consumer goods brand.
  • Highly personable with outstanding leadership skills.
  • Experience scaling customer acquisition whilst continuing to maximise retention and LTV.
  • Proven experience maximising performance against budgeted resources, with the ability to test innovative channels and unique strategies to ensure budgets are maximised and target CAC is achieved.
  • Strong experience in paid social platforms, PPC platforms, affiliate marketing and referral programmes to name a few.
  • Experience finalising, executing and optimising growth strategies, managing in-house teams and/or agencies to optimise for best results.
  • Wealth of experience in acquisition tactics and best practices with the eagerness to continue to learn.
  • High level knowledge of tracking analytics and extensive experience with data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deconstruct data to understand customer behaviours in order to implement solutions.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary.
  • Unlimited holidays on top of your 28 days off – hard work requires recharge time, and we’re flexible about how much you take (as long as it’s more than 28 days!) and when. We also enforce a company wide holiday day off once every month.
  • Wellness package – budget for you to spend on you, every month.
  • Flexibility work locations – ohne started as a London-centric company, but continued to hire the best talent regardless of location. This means you have freedom to choose your work location (assuming core hours are in a similar time zone) and, if you’d like one, we’ll make sure we provide you with a co-working space/ office space wherever you choose to be.
  • Flexible work, both times and remote work – we know that commuting during rush hour sucks wherever you are, and we know that every now and again, gaining some vitamin D whilst you work from a sun terrace is needed, and we’re all for it. You can move around as much as you like.
  • Work policies that actually care about you as an individual, and have your best interests at their core.
  • Team Trips (COVID allowing)
  • Working alongside a team of young, passionate people who encourage, support and nurture one another.
